I was going to write a LONG, dramatic response to everyone, but it ultimately doesn’t matter. We are just talking heads, yelling at each other on screens. Who’s mind would be changed by my words? Literally no ones. I have sat silently through so many monopolized conversations where mostly men (not ALL MEN, yes women TOO) have decided I didn’t know anything. Of course this is a problem but obviously it’s not a problem that is ready to be understood by an open heart.

I’m not an idiot. Obviously there are pressing, horrible issues out in the world, including job losses, racial discrimination, educating men, etc. Does this mean this isn’t real? Why can’t we talk about this one? If mansplainer is the worst thing you are being called due to being discriminated against by your gender, I consider that quite tame. How can you not agree?

I am not being condescending when I say this: I wish all of you love in the world, because it’s true, we are in this together. Having an open dialogue is so important about what happens so often, but I can see this one touched a big nerve and that is unfortunate. Happy holidays, all ❤️
